Clean, comfortable, beautiful views

We slept in a corner room and the views were incredible! View of the water from our bed and the Tokyo tower from the bath. The room was spacious for Tokyo and the bed was quite comfy. The staff were so friendly. They gave us a little gift for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect touch to celebrate.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the laundry service was prohibitively expensive. I was out of clean clothes so I had no choice, but recommend that you don’t do laundry there!

Good stay

Good location in Ginza, sort of on the southern edge of Ginza, so pretty calm and quiet at night. Close to the Ginza Don Quiote which is convenient. Close to Shimbashi Station. Airport Limo Bus picks up and drops off right at the hotel.

The view is absolutely amazing. The breakfast was good and the room is very nice.

Room a bit on the small side but this is normal for Tokyo.

What was the highlight of Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier

Absolutely perfect !

Firstly, I travel to Japan for work at least a half dozen times a year. However, this was the third trip my wife and I have taken together and the second Mitsui hotel we have stayed in and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The hotel starts on the 16th floor. There is a very nice private lobby on the ground floor and two lifts that take you to the 16th floor where you’ll find reception and the restaurant. The rooms start on the 17th floor. As the building is rectangular, every room, regardless of which side of the hotel you are on, faces the city of Tokyo so the views are spectacular. Also, in reception, there’s a huge picture window with sofas looking out and the view, particularly at sunset, is awe inspiring. The rooms are incredibly well designed and laid out and have every facility you could wish for. Like everything and everywhere in Japan, the rooms (and the hotel) are spotlessly clean. If you haven’t stayed in a hotel room in Japan (and particularly Tokyo) hotel rooms are small. I heard one British guest complaining at reception about this but it’s the way it is in Japan so do your research prior to booking. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of choice of both Western, Asian & Japanese food. My wife and I are both vegetarian so we had less choice but still enough so we could enjoy a great breakfast each day. The staff are exceptionally helpful (like everyone I’ve met in Japan) and always go the extra mile. The location is perfect. 8 to 10 mins walk to central Ginza (the Wako/Seiko department store, Mitsokosha, etc). The walk there is exceptionally nice as the streets are full of restaurants and shops. Finally, and separately from the hotel, from all Terminals at Narita and Haneda Airports, you can catch the Airport Limousine bus (you’ll see them everywhere at the airports and in Tokyo) directly to the hotel. It literally stops right outside the lobby. We took the bus from T1 in Narita and bought the tickets at the counter in the arrivals hall.

Short walk to Shimbashi station and Ginza, shops and restaurants

We had a great view of Tokyo from our 17th floor room. The view is also fantastic from the restaurant (breakfast room) and the sitting area of the lobby. Great location, quiet, good breakfast, and taxis are parked at the front of the building

We found the room adequate, but a large desk and corner couch made it very cramped. There was too much furniture, so one side of the bed was right at the window. Less furniture would have made the room much roomier.

A very nice hotel in a great location. Beautiful views of the city from the hotel. Easy, smooth check-in and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet had a great selection too. Highly recommended.
